My first Friday Favourites post! Wootwoot! I’m so excited, I love list posts…and I especially love the fact that today is Friday and that means the freaking weekend is here!!
This week has been super busy and pretty awesome to tell you the truth. We’ve had lot’s of warm evenings filled with playing outside, had an impromptu dinner/play date with some friends, I’ve stayed on point with my 5:2 fasting diet plan (I can feel these pounds melting off), and tonight I get to hang out with my bestie with a glass of Rose! Life can’t get much better than this!

Confession: I don’t really believe the hype about weight loss water or detox water. BUT I believe in the amazing flavours of some of these recipes…and I do believe they’re an enticing way to get your daily water intake in! This is probably my favourite water infused recipe. It tastes so refreshing on a hot day, makes me feel like I’m melting away my worries at the spa on any day, and as someone who struggles with IBS…let me tell you…it works wonders on my chronically sore tummy!
And lastly, while I embark on this new fitness journey (yet again) I keep reminding myself that while it takes 21 days to form a habit, it actually takes 90 days to create a lifestyle. I’m determined to make it to that 90th day and beyond. Here’s a great article about the 21/90 rule.
